BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT
We now offer more choice of appointments.  You can book in advance either on-line using Patient Access,  by telephone or in person.  You can book on the day you want to be seen - each doctor has "on the day"
routine appointments.  If you want to book on the day you are best to phone as soon after 8.20am as possible.  Patients who have an urgent medical problem which can not wait will usually be booked in to see our Advanced Nurse Practitioner.

All consultations are by appointment except in an emergency. You may consult any of the doctors. In the case of urgent problems (conditions which cannot wait a day or two) the patient will be seen that day, otherwise, you will be offered the first available time with the doctor of your choice. Priority is always given to babies and young children who will always be seen that day.

You can book appointments online via Patient Access. If you have an account please click on the login button below. If you would like an account please click here for instructions on how to register.

If you cannot keep an appointment, please let us know as soon as possible as this can be used as an appointment for someone else. Approximately 150 appointments are wasted each month by people failing to attend. Click here to cancel your appointment online.

Home Visits

If you are too ill to attend the surgery, a home visit can be arranged. Except in emergencies, please try to telephone before 10.00am this helps the doctor to plan his rounds. If you are in doubt about the need for a home visit, remember facilities for examination are better at the surgery and a home visit takes up four times as much of the Doctor's time.

Test Results

Advice about hospital reports, or test results may be obtained by telephoning any weekday afternoon after 2pm. In order to maintain confidentiality only general statements will be made. The doctors will have told the receptionist if any further action is required.
